Africa plans 20 million COVID-19 tests in new campaign

“Africa has set out to do 20 million laboratory tests for COVID-19 by November, said the Africa Centre for Disease Control and Prevention on Thursday. The announcement was made by John Nkengasong, director of the Addis Ababa-based Africa CDC, during a weekly virtual news briefing on the novel coronavirus. He was joined by the African Union commissioners of social affairs as well as infrastructure and energy.”
