As rainstorm wreaks havoc in Kwara, many residents remain stranded despite govt’s intervention

In Kwara, students were excited to resume, but staggered preparation, fear among teachers mar school reopening

“The Nigerian CDC in its guidelines for school reopening advanced schools should provide and adequately equip dispensaries and clinics. It also provides that the government should ensure that school clinics are ready to attend to sick people. But the directives only exist on paper in Kwara state as most schools in the state barely have an adequately equipped first aid box.”
