KEMSA unable to sell PPEs worth KSh 6.1 billion

“KEMSA currently has three warehouses filled with Personal Protective Equipment worth KSh 6.1 billion inching closer to being declared deadstock. The agency is yet to pay suppliers of the medical equipment months after procurement. Prices of PPEs have dropped drastically making it difficult for KEMSA to sell the PPEs at current market rates.”
