South Africa could see 40,000 COVID-19 deaths by November

“South Africa is likely to see about 40,000 deaths from COVID-19 by November, according to mathematical modelling released late on Tuesday. And the country will quickly run out of hospital beds to treat patients. Scientists now predict that the country will reach the 30,000 mark in diagnosed COVID-19 cases by the end of the month.”
